Yashoda Foods opens ‘Current Point’ outlet in Butwal (photos)

KATHMANDU: Yashoda Foods Pvt. Ltd., the manufacturer of Nepal’s renowned Current noodle brand, has launched a new outlet, Current Point, in Kalika Nagar, Butwal.
This outlet offers customers a complete range of dishes prepared using Current-branded products.
The grand opening of Current Point was officiated by Hari Prasad Aryal,Chair of the Butwal Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the event, Aryal praised Yashoda Foods for its quality products, highlighting their health benefits and contribution to the national economy.
He commended the company for elevating Butwal’s reputation, transforming it from a regional market hub to a global name, thanks to its extensive export network.
Current-branded products are now shipped to countries such as the USA, Canada, Japan, and major Asian and European nations.
Chunna Prasad Paudel, Director of Yashoda Foods, shared that Current Point will serve a variety of innovative dishes crafted from the company’s diverse product range. “Customers can experience unique flavors here and also purchase their favorite products directly from the outlet,” he said.
Co-director Narishwar Paudel emphasized that the outlet is the first of its kind in Nepal, designed not only to serve prepared dishes but also to gather immediate customer feedback.
Current Point features popular products like Current Hot & Spicy, Current 2× Spicy, Current 3× Spicy, Current Schezwan, Current Cheese & Butter, Current Mushroom, Current Cup Noodles, Current Chicken Pizza, Current Akabare, Current Chatpat, and Current Masala Noodles, among others.
Yashoda Foods, established in Tilottama, Rupandehi, in 2016 (2073 BS), began production in 2017 (2074 BS).
The company has expanded its portfolio to include snacks such as Current Cheese Balls, Current Hot & Spicy Sticks, Current Potato Crackers, Current Potato Sticks, Current Achari Sticks, Current Hot & Lemon Sticks, Current Onion Rings, Current Millet Chips, and Current Buckwheat Chips. These premium products are sold across Nepal and exported to international markets.
With the launch of Current Point, Yashoda Foods aims to strengthen its connection with customers while promoting Nepalese products globally.
