KATHMANDU: Santosh Tiwari, the chief priest of the Shree Ram Janmabhumi Trust, and Durga Prasad Gautam, the senior acharya of the Vishvwa Hindu Parishad, visited Nepal’s prominent Sanatan religious center, Shashwat Dham, on Monday.

Tiwari, who has been serving at the Shree Ram Temple in Ayodhya for over three decades, emphasized that his visit opened new doors for collaboration between two significant religious-educational institutions.

The primary aim of the visit was to establish a sisterhood relationship between the Shree Ram Vedic School in Ayodhya and the Vedic Karmakand Gurukul at Shashwat Dham.

During this visit, in-depth discussions were held between Shashwat Dham’s founder Sarika Chaudhary and the headmaster of the Gurukul, Vishnuprasad Ghimire.

The discussions focused on launching various programs for the educational and spiritual development of students from both institutions.

This includes knowledge exchange programs, joint research initiatives, study and teaching of Vedic knowledge, and cultural exchange activities.

Tiwari, during his visit, praised Shashwat Dham’s magnificent campus, its Vedic educational system, and the spiritual atmosphere. He stated, “The educational and spiritual activities at Shashwat Dham will undoubtedly contribute significantly to the preservation and promotion of Vedic culture.”

Established in 2017, Shashwat Dham has been promoting spiritual consciousness and the dissemination of Vedic knowledge.

The center emphasizes the spiritual and mental development of individuals through knowledge, devotion, rituals, and yoga.

So far, more than 4.9 million visitors, including religious tourists, have visited the Dham, a testament to its growing popularity. In the coming days, Shashwat Dham plans to celebrate the milestone of 5 million visitors with a special ceremony.

Acharya Durga Prasad Gautam of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad expressed confidence that the collaboration between the two religious institutions would infuse new energy into the global promotion of Sanatan Dharma and Vedic culture.

Shashwat Dham regularly hosts programs such as Vedic rituals, yoga camps, meditation, and satsangs.

Additionally, the Gurukul integrates traditional education with modern teaching methods, passing down Sanatan values and beliefs to the younger generation.

The collaboration between these two religious centers is expected to mark a new chapter in the preservation and promotion of Vedic knowledge and culture.
