GIBL celebrates 18th anniversary with nationwide awareness rally

KATHMANDU: Global IME Bank Limited (GIBL) marked its 18th anniversary on Monday by organizing a nationwide awareness rally aimed at promoting financial literacy and banking awareness among the public.

As the bank completes 18 years of service and steps into its 19th year on Jan 2, Kathmandu hosted a prominent event attended by the President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of Global IME Bank, Chandra Prasad Dhakal.
Over 1,500 employees, including board members and senior management, participated in the rally.
Carrying educational placards and banners, participants in Kathmandu marched from the bank’s Kantipath branch office, covering key areas of the city.
Similar rallies were organized in major cities outside the Kathmandu Valley as well.
The bank stated that it remains committed to directly benefiting the community through such socially impactful initiatives, reflecting its dedication to institutional social responsibility.
