Bus crash in Pakistan’s Punjab kills 10, injures 7

KATHMANDU: A bus accident in Pakistan’s eastern Punjab province claimed the lives of 10 people and left seven others injured on Monday, according to police officials.
The incident occurred near the Fateh Jang area of Attock district on a motorway.
The bus driver lost control after a tire burst, leading to the accident. Among the victims were women and children, officials confirmed.
The bus was traveling from Bahawalpur district to the federal capital, Islamabad, when the crash happened.
Rescue teams and police reached the scene shortly after the accident, transporting the injured to a nearby hospital.
Two of the injured are reported to be in critical condition.
Earlier on the same day, another collision in the southern Sindh province’s Naushahro Feroze district resulted in six deaths and 15 injuries when a passenger van collided with a trailer.
