Janamat Party to observe ‘Dhoti Diwas’ on Jan 1

KATHMANDU: The Janamat Party, led by CK Raut, has announced plans to celebrate “Dhoti Diwas.”

The party’s Secretariat meeting held on Sunday decided to observe the day on the 17th of Poush (Jan 1).

A letter signed by the party’s central spokesperson, Dr. Sharadsingh Yadav, states, “On Jan 1, Wednesday, the Janamat Party will organize district-level programs across all districts.

Participants are encouraged to wear traditional outfits such as dhotis, kurtas, and other attire that reflects regional uniqueness.”
