6-year-old kid drowns in well, succumbs to injuries

KATHMANDU: A 6-year-old girl, Aarti Dangi, daughter of Santosh Dangi from Surkhet Guruwakot Municipality-2, who had been residing in Godawari Municipality-13, Lalitpur, drowned in a well at the same location on Saturday evening.

After being rescued from the well, she was taken to Patan Health Science Institute for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The police are investigating the incident.
