Citizens Bank provides warm clothes to students in Bajura

KATHMANDU: Citizens Bank International Limited under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program has donated warm clothes to students of Shree Bichchhya Secondary School, located in Himali Rural Municipality-1, Bajura District, Sudurpaschim Province.

Most of the students studying at the school come from economically disadvantaged families who face difficulties purchasing warm clothing for the winter season. In response, the bank distributed warm sweaters to the students.

During a program held at the school, the bank provided sweaters to 211 students, ranging from Early Childhood Development (ECD) classes to Grade 10.

The bank believes that providing warm sweaters to students from low-income families in this remote Himalayan region will help ease their learning process during the cold season.

Citizens Bank has also reaffirmed its commitment to bringing positive changes in social, economic, cultural, and educational sectors through various programs under its CSR initiatives in the future.
