Gold & silver prices drop

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market dropped on the first trading day of the week, Sunday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has decreased by Rs 500 per tola.

Chhapawal gold is being traded at Rs 150,200 per tola today, compared to Rs 150,700 per tola on Friday, the last trading day.

Similarly, the price of silver has dropped by Rs 25, with current trading at Rs 1,790 per tola.

On Friday, silver was priced at Rs 1,815 per tola.
