KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Weather Forecast Division, has predicted an improvement in weather conditions starting today.

Similarly, light snowfall is likely in some areas of the high hills and mountainous regions of Karnali, Gandaki, and Koshi provinces, as well as in one or two places in the high-altitude areas of Sudurpaschim and Bagmati provinces.
The country is experiencing a partial impact of the western low-pressure system.
While Koshi Province and other hilly areas are witnessing partly to generally cloudy weather, the rest of the country remains mostly clear.
Tonight, hilly areas across the country are expected to remain partly cloudy, with clear weather in other regions.
Light snowfall is anticipated in one or two locations in the high-altitude areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
In the next 24 hours, light snowfall may occur in some areas of the high hills and mountainous regions of Karnali, Gandaki, and Koshi provinces, as well as in one or two places in Sudurpaschim and Bagmati provinces.
Additionally, there is a possibility of light rain in one or two locations in the hilly regions.
The department has urged all concerned to exercise caution as these weather conditions may have a partial impact on daily life, agriculture, health, road transportation, and aviation.
