Playing at home on Saturday morning, Arsenal secured the win thanks to a decisive goal from Kai Havertz in the 23rd minute.

The victory places Arsenal at 36 points from 18 matches, trailing leaders Liverpool, who have 42 points with a game in hand.

Ipswich Town remains in the relegation zone with just 12 points from 18 games.

In another match on Saturday, Brighton and Brentford played out a goalless draw.

Despite creating opportunities, both teams failed to convert, resulting in a shared point.

With 18 matches each, Brighton and Brentford sit in 10th and 11th places, respectively.
