Citizen Life provides warm clothes to 447 students of Roshi RM
The company provided winter tracksuits to 47 students of Shree Shanti Buddha Primary School and 400 students of Shree Mangal Jan Vijay Secondary School.
KATHMANDU: In the aftermath of relentless rainfall on July 27, which caused severe flooding and landslides across various parts of the country, Kavre district’s Roshi Rural Municipality emerged as one of the worst-hit areas.
The calamity significantly disrupted educational activities for children in the affected regions. Recognizing the urgent need for support, Citizen Life Insurance Company stepped in to distribute winter uniforms to students in the area to help them continue their education comfortably during the cold season.
The company provided winter tracksuits to 47 students of Shree Shanti Buddha Primary School and 400 students of Shree Mangal Jan Vijay Secondary School.
The distribution program was attended by several dignitaries, including Mr. Deep Bahadur B.C., Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Citizen Life Insurance, Mr. Bhushan Rimal, Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Sunil Pokharel, Chief Business Officer, local government officials, school teachers, students, and parents.
Speaking at the event, Deputy CEO Mr. Deep Bahadur B.C. expressed his belief that the initiative would ease the students’ educational journey. He shared his joy in bringing smiles to the children’s faces during challenging times and emphasized the importance of insurance for everyone. He also wished the students a bright future, highlighting their role as the nation’s backbone.
