KATHMANDU: Janakpur Bolts, the winners of the inaugural Nepal Premier League (NPL), held a grand “Trophy Parade” in Janakpurdham today.

After arriving in Janakpur on Thursday night, the players kicked off their celebration tour in Madhesh Province.

The first day featured a vibrant city procession in Janakpurdham.

The parade began in the morning at the Ram-Janaki International Stadium and passed through key locations, including Thapa Chowk, Pidari Chowk, Ramanand Chowk, Bajrang Chowk, Bhramarpura Chowk, Zero Mile, Vishwakarma Chowk, Murli Chowk, and Ram Chowk, before culminating at the iconic Janaki Temple.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from local citizens, civil society members, and sports enthusiasts.

Janakpur Bolts claimed the NPL title on Dec 21 (Poush 6) by defeating Sudurpaschim Royals by five wickets in the final match.
