The award was presented during a special event on the occasion of NCHL’s 16th anniversary, where Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), presented the prestigious award to Mr. Kapil Dhakal, CEO of JBBL, for excellence among development banks.

Additionally, the bank promotes digital banking and cashless transactions by operating cross-border payment services. Through its mobile banking app, customers can open fixed deposit accounts, use Cardless Cash Withdrawal services via Jyoti Smart App, and withdraw funds by scanning QR codes at counters without the need for a cheque.
The bank also offers Video KYC for online account opening and activation, along with several other advanced banking services.
The bank has contributed significantly to the development of digital banking by providing free QR Code services to businesses nationwide, further promoting digital transactions.
The bank emphasizes the importance of security in digital banking, advising customers to safeguard passwords, PINs, OTP codes, and other sensitive information to prevent financial fraud.
