Addressing the Bhanu Municipality Festival in Tanahun today, Chair Dhakal emphasized the importance of mobilizing domestic capital.
KATHMANDU: President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, announced that local projects and enterprise development will no longer face investment shortages.
Addressing the Bhanu Municipality Festival in Tanahun today, Chair Dhakal emphasized the importance of mobilizing domestic capital.
He revealed that a new investment company with a capital base of Rs 10 billion has been established to support various initiatives. He also urged stakeholders to propose investment-worthy projects.
Highlighting abundant opportunities in Nepal’s tourism, energy, information technology, and agriculture sectors, Dhakal explained that the newly formed company is designed to facilitate financial management and partnerships, benefiting local entrepreneurs.
He noted that the Nepal government is amending laws that hinder investment, creating a favorable environment for investors.
Dhakal further remarked that increasing tourist arrivals, a steady flow of foreign currency through remittances, ample liquidity in the banking sector, and balanced interest rates make this an ideal time for investment.
He also extended his support for efforts to promote Bhanu Municipality as an outstanding tourist destination and enhance local production.
In conclusion, Dhakal wished success to the municipality and its initiatives.
