Man found dead in Balkot was an employee of the Postal Service

KATHMANDU: A father and son were found dead under suspicious circumstances.
The deceased have been identified as 56-year-old Kul Prasad Acharya and his 22-year-old son Prabin Acharya, originally from Khotang.

Kul Prasad, an employee of the Postal Service, was serving as an assistant officer at the District Post Office in Diktel, Khotang.
According to Bhaktapur District Police spokesperson DSP Dhundiraj Neupane, Kul Prasad had visited Kathmandu and was staying at his sons’ rented room in Balkot.
His sons had been living in the area for three years for their studies.
The family reportedly had dinner together on Sunday night before going to bed.
However, the elder son, Milan Acharya, is currently missing. Police have launched a search operation to locate him.
The bodies showed signs of injuries, and further investigation into the case is ongoing.
