Passenger who lost consciousness aboard flight from Hong Kong dies

KATHMANDU: A passenger aboard a Nepal Airlines flight from Hong Kong to Kathmandu has passed away.

Deuman Limbu from Taplejung lost consciousness during the flight on Nepal Airlines’ RA 401 service from Hong Kong to Kathmandu.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu, he was immediately rushed to a hospital, but was declared dead by the KMC Hospital.

Manoj Kumar Sah, Deputy Director of the airline’s Engineering Maintenance Department, confirmed the passenger’s death.

“It was reported that he lost consciousness during the flight. As soon as the plane landed in Kathmandu, he was taken to the hospital where he was declared dead,” Sah told Makalu Khabar. “The body has been handed over to the family.”
