Laxmi Sunrise Capital appointed as issue manager for Shiva Shankar Hydro’s IPO

KATHMANDU: Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited has been appointed as the issue and sales manager for the issuance of ordinary shares by Shiva Shankar Hydro Investment Limited.

The IPO comprises 2.5 million shares with a face value of Rs 100 per share, amounting to a total of Rs 250 million.

The agreement was signed by Bijay Lal Shrestha, Chief Executive Officer of Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited, and Khageshwar Bohara, Chair of Shiva Shankar Hydro Investment Limited.

Deepak Raj Joshi, Managing Director of Shiva Shankar Hydro Investment Limited, was also present during the signing ceremony.

Shiva Shankar Hydro Investment Limited was formed by the merger of Shiva Shankar Investment Pvt. Ltd. and Jai Ganesh Investment Pvt. Ltd.

The company primarily focuses on investments in hydropower, infrastructure, and other productive sectors.

Currently, the company has invested in several hydropower projects, including:

  • Sanigad Hydro Limited (38.46 MW)
  • Kalanga Hydro Limited (15.33 MW)
  • Bungad Hydro Limited (10.7 MW)
  • Vision Energy and Power Limited (57.5 MW)

Among these, the first three projects are already operational and have been registered with the Securities Board of Nepal for the IPO process.

Upon the issuance of ordinary shares, Shiva Shankar Hydro Investment Limited’s paid-up capital will reach Rs 1.05 billion.
