NPL final: Sudurpaschim & Janakpur clash for ultimate glory & Rs 1.1 crore prize!

KATHMANDU: Janakpur Bolts defeated Karnali Yaks by two wickets on Thursday to secure a spot in the final of the Nepal Premier League (NPL).
They will face Sudurpaschim Royals for the coveted title.
All-rounder James Neesham’s stellar performance helped Janakpur overcome Karnali in the second qualifier.
On Wednesday, Sudurpaschim Royals had already booked their place in the final by defeating Janakpur in the first qualifier.
Chasing a modest target of 119 runs at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Janakpur reached the target in 18.5 overs, losing seven wickets.
Neesham top-scored with a blistering 45 runs off 17 balls, smashing five sixes and two fours. His all-round effort earned him the Player of the Match award.
The winner of the NPL will receive a cash prize of Rs 1.1 crore, while the runner-up will receive Rs 51 lakh.
The third and fourth-placed teams will get Rs 25 lakh and Rs 15 lakh, respectively.
Additionally, the Player of the Tournament will be awarded a car, as announced earlier by CAN (Cricket Association of Nepal).
The final match is scheduled for Saturday.
