KATHMANDU: The play ‘Hari Hajurba’ is currently being performed at Mandala Theatre in Thapagaun.
The play, which opened on Thursday, will run until Sunday, Jan 12 (Poush 28), with shows every day except Monday.
On Saturdays, there will be two performances at 1 PM and 5:15 PM.
This production marks the return of actor Najir Hussain to the stage after nearly 10 years. Najir has written, conceptualized, and directed the play, which explores the impact of conflict and the depths of human relationships.
The cast features actors Najir Husen, Vijay Baral, Riyulsang, Sabina Thapa, Rohit Shah, Sujana Pandey, Manish Pandey, and Risu Raut.
Vijay Baral returns to the stage following his role in ‘Mitjyu.’ The story revolves around a letter-delivering boy named Hari and a grandfather waiting for his granddaughter, who disappeared during the conflict.
The narrative, inspired by poetry, has been transformed into a compelling stage drama.
‘Hari Hajurba’ aims to offer healing to the wounds left by conflict, delivering a poignant experience to audiences.
The play is produced by actors Dayahang Rai and Buddhi Tamang.
