KATHMANDU: The ACC U-19 Women’s Asia Cup match between Nepal and Sri Lanka in Malaysia ended without a result due to rain.

Nepal had reached the Super Four stage by finishing as the runner-up in Group A.
Nepal won the toss and chose to bowl, taking one wicket for one run in the first over before heavy rain interrupted the match.
Nepal’s next Super Four match will be against Bangladesh on Friday.
Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh have qualified for the Super Four.
The top two teams from this stage will compete for the title in the final, which will take place on Sunday.
Nepal’s participation in the Asia Cup is a result of their qualification for the U-19 Women’s World Cup, scheduled for January next year in Malaysia.
In the World Cup, Nepal will compete in Group D alongside Australia, Bangladesh, and Scotland.
