Over 5,300 people benefitted from health camp

KATHMANDU: More than 5,300 people were benefitted from a health camp organized at Bhotenamlang and Thangpaldhap of Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality in Sindhupalchowk.

The two-day health camp was organized in coordination with the District Public Health Office, Chautara Hospital, and Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality, said the information officer at Chautara Hospital, Dr. Amardip Shah.

Different health services, including general check-ups, pediatrics, ENT, eye, dental, and gynecology, and counseling, are available in the camp.

The health camp was organized targeting the people of rural areas and those who could not reach the hospital due to financial condition, said the spokesperson of the rural municipality, Narayan Bhattarai.

Minister for Health of Bagmati Province, Kiran Thapa Magar, said the ministry has been working to provide health services in remote areas of the province.
