CM Lama hands over ventilator to Chandragiri Town Hospital

KATHMANDU: Chandragiri Town Hospital is starting ventilator service soon. The Ministry of Health and Population has provided ventilator to the Hospital.

Municipality spokesperson Krishna Prasad Khadgi, who is also the Municipality Ward No 4 Chair, said the 15-bed hospital has been providing lab service, 24-hour emergency service, birthing service. The hospital is located at Ward No 4 and is in operation for the last five years.
The hospital is also preparing to provide cardiac tests, family planning service, free medical services to the elderly, indigent and disabled people as well as dialysis services.
The Municipality has also been running the Community Nurse Programme in the Municipality area.
Health screening services for mental health, breast cancer, cervical cancer, child nutrition and others, and health counseling, home visits to pregnant and new mothers, health education and public awareness services are provided under this programme.
