National Life Insurance concludes three-day “Chairperson Program”

KATHMANDU: National Life Insurance Company Ltd. successfully concluded a 3-day “Chairperson Club” recognition and training program for its agents at Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza in Kathmandu.

The event honored 491 agents who achieved their targets for the fiscal year 2080/81.

The company’s Chairperson, Mrs. Prema Rajya Laxmi Singh, presided over the event.

The program aimed to reward dedicated agents who met their goals and to provide additional training.

Chairperson Mrs. Singh congratulated the agents for their hard work and distributed the Chairperson Club memberships, alongside honoring top-performing agents in various categories.

Mrs. Singh noted that while the life insurance market grew by 9.94% during the fiscal year, National Life Insurance achieved a remarkable 17% growth thanks to the agents’ outstanding contributions. She expressed confidence in the company’s financial stability, insurance plans, bonuses, and market presence, foreseeing continued growth.

CEO Mr. Suresh Prasad Khatri, in his welcome speech, highlighted the company’s efforts to support agents through innovative programs.

He mentioned that such initiatives have directly benefited professional agents and that continued efforts are being made to enhance the prestige of the Chairperson Club.

The event also included a training session on anti-money laundering and combating terrorist financing, led by Mr. Sambhraj Lamichhane, Deputy Director of the Nepal Insurance Authority. Motivational trainer Mr. Amit Sharma provided insightful examples and encouraged agents to stay focused to achieve success.

Agents who sold 100 or more policies, those recognized as National Stars and National Super Stars, and agents selected for the Chairperson Club for over 10 consecutive years were honored.

Additionally, the top seven agents from network-based and individual business categories, as well as those excelling in group business, received certificates and cash prizes.

Receiving their honors, the business leaders expressed pride and gratitude, acknowledging the recognition of their hard work.
