Dr. Nicholas Bhusal admits to taking Rabi Lamichhane’s photo in custody

KATHMANDU: A photo of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane sleeping in custody has gone viral.

The image was reportedly taken and shared by Dr. Nicholas Bhusal, a supporter of the RSP.

Bhusal admitted to capturing and posting the photo, saying, “This photo is real, and I took it myself. I apologize for the mistake. I had no ill intention or desire to blame anyone. Please don’t fall into any confusion. I was there to check on his health and boost his morale.”

Bhusal, who recently called for civil protests through social media, deleted the image after RSP’s Deputy Treasurer Bohara questioned the post’s appropriateness.
