Boy held for the murdering of teen girl

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 24-year-old Bishwas Tamang on charges of murdering 17-year-old Sarita Tamang.

Bishwas, a resident of Khadka Gaun, Kathmandu Metropolitan-14, hails from Gajuri Rural Municipality-3, Dhading.

The victim, Sarita, originally from Gajuri Rural Municipality-4, Dhading, had been living in a rented room in Satungal, Chandragiri Municipality-10.

Sarita was found dead in her room on Wednesday afternoon.

Following the investigation by the Kathmandu District Police, Bishwas was arrested on Wednesday night for his alleged involvement in the incident.

Police are continuing their investigation.
