Foreign Minister Rana departs from Berlin to New Delhi

KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba has departed for New Delhi, India, from Berlin, Germany.

Prior to visiting Germany, she toured Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

While in Germany, Minister Deuba participated in the 2024 Conference on the Rights of Sexual and Gender Minorities.

During the event, she discussed the challenges faced by gender minorities globally, including violence, oppression, and systemic inequalities.

Additionally, she emphasized the need for fundamental policy transformation and highlighted the potential of feminist foreign policy to achieve long-term change.
