Janakpur Bolts face Karnali Yaks in NPL Second Qualifier

KATHMANDU: Janakpur Bolts and Karnali Yaks are set to clash in the second qualifier of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The match will start at 12 PM.

Janakpur is playing the second qualifier after an 8-wicket defeat to Sudurpaschim Royals in the first qualifier.

Meanwhile, Karnali advanced to this stage by defeating Chitwan Rhinos by 21 runs in the eliminator.

In the group stage, Janakpur Bolts had defeated Karnali Yaks by 8 wickets.

Karnali finished third and Chitwan fourth to qualify for the playoffs.

The NPL champion will receive NPR 11 million, while the runner-up will earn Rs 5.1 million.

The third- and fourth-placed teams will get Rs 2.5 million and Rs 1.5 million, respectively.
