KATHMANDU: In Dang, 29-year-old Chitra Bahadur Budhathoki was arrested by the police on Wednesday afternoon on charges of murdering his 32-year-old wife, Hasti Kumari Budhathoki in Dang.

The incident occurred when Chitra Bahadur struck his wife with a weapon in their living room, causing her death at the scene.

Upon receiving the news, the police from the Area Police Office in Tulsipur arrested him near the prison office in Tulsipur Municipality-7.

An investigation is ongoing in this case.
