President appoints ambassadors to India and Malaysia

KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed new resident ambassadors for Nepal to India and Malaysia.

Dr. Shankar Prasad Sharma has been named as Nepal’s Resident Ambassador to India, while Dr. Netra Prasad Timsina will serve as the Resident Ambassador to Malaysia.

The appointments were made by the President under Article 282 (1) of Nepal’s Constitution, following the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, according to the President’s Office.
