NIC ASIA Bank inaugurates library at Siraha’s Bala Sundari Secondary School
With the opening of this library, over 1,100 students and teachers will directly benefit from improved access to educational materials.
KATHMANDU: NIC ASIA Bank, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, has inaugurated a newly constructed library at Shree Bala Sundari Secondary School in Bhagwanpur Rural Municipality-1, Siraha district, Madhesh Province.
The library, aimed at providing essential educational resources and fostering an excellent learning environment, was handed over to the school on Magh 27, 2081, with active participation from the school and local authorities.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Ugra Narayan Yadav, Chair of Bhagwanpur Rural Municipality, Mr. Shankar Dhakal, Head of NIC ASIA Bank’s Madhesh Province-6, and representatives from the school.

Previously, NIC ASIA Bank inaugurated libraries in several schools across different provinces, including:
Gandaki Province: Shree Pavitra Secondary School, Bandipur-1, Tanahun
Sudurpashchim Province: Shree Mohanyal Secondary School, Joshipur-1, Kailali
Koshi Province: Shree Adarsha Secondary School, Buddhashanti-2, Jhapa, and Shri Gauriganj Secondary School, Gauriganj-3, Jhapa
Additionally, the bank has completed library construction for:
Madhesh Province: Shree Siddhartha Secondary School, Birgunj-14, Parsa
Lumbini Province: Shree Public Secondary School, Siyari-4, Rupandehi
Bagmati Province: Shree Birendra Adarsha Secondary School, Rapti-7, Chitwan
NIC ASIA Bank allocated a total budget of Rs 20.53 million for these library projects.
The bank believes that these libraries will benefit over 11,000 students, enhancing their access to books and educational resources, improving academic quality, and supporting overall personal development.
