Islington College Kathmandu celebrates the Graduation of the Class of 2024

KATHMANDU: Islington College Kathmandu recently celebrated the remarkable achievements of its graduating class of 2024 in a grand ceremony, marking the culmination of years of academic dedication and hard work.

The event brought together graduates, families, faculty, and distinguished guests to honor the students’ accomplishments.

For many graduates, graduation symbolizes the transition from years of study to the professional world, where their newly acquired knowledge and skills will shape their careers and influence the future.

In total, the year 2024 will see 814 graduates. There are a total of 750 graduates from the specialisations BSc (Hons) Computing, BSc (Hons) Computer Networking and IT Security, BSc (Hons) Multimedia Technologies, BA (Hons) Business Administration, BA (Hons) International Business Management, BA (Hons) Digital Business Management, BA (Hons) Advertising and Marketing, and BA (Hons) Events and Tourism Management., while also including 64 Graduate degree holders from Masters in Information Technology and Applied Security.

The ceremony also provided an opportunity to honour exceptional students for their achievements. Special awards, including the International Student House/London Metropolitan University Scholarships and Postgraduate Innovate Nepal Group Scholarships, were presented to outstanding graduates who will continue their academic journey at one of Islington College’s prestigious partner institutions.

This year, the Innovate Nepal Group Scholarship, which allows the awardee a full-board Postgraduate scholarship at any ING College, was presented to Mr Nischal Acharya and Mr Sujal Tuladhar.

Similarly, the prestigious International Student House/London Metropolitan University Scholarship, that amounts to more than Nrs. 1.5 crores, covering tuition fees, living expenses and two-way airfare, was awarded to Ms. Lakshina Bajracharya and Mr Kushal Karki.

For over 28 years, Islington College Kathmandu has been at the forefront of education, offering an immersive and professional curriculum that prepares students to meet the challenges of the global workforce.
