Father dies from electric shock in Sunsari, son seriously injured

KATHMANDU: A 35-year-old man, Raja Krishna Mehta, from Devangunj Rural Municipality-3, Sunsari, died due to an electric shock on Tuesday afternoon.

While watering his field with an electric motor, he was severely injured by the shock and later passed away during treatment at Koshi Hospital, Biratnagar.

Additionally, his son, Karan Mehta, who was also injured by the electric shock, has been referred to Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar, for further treatment.

The police are conducting necessary investigations regarding the incident.
