Chitwan Rhinos bowl first in NPL eliminator against Karnali Yaks

KATHMANDU: In the Eliminator match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Chitwan Rhinos are bowling first against Karnali Yaks.
Chitwan captain Kushal Malla won the toss and opted to bowl at the TU Cricket Ground.
The winner of this match will advance to Qualifier 2, where they will face the loser of Qualifier 1. The losing team in the Eliminator will be knocked out of the tournament.
Both Chitwan and Karnali secured 4 wins each from 7 league matches, collecting 8 points.
Chitwan finished third due to a superior net run rate, while Karnali edged past Kathmandu Gurkhas to claim the fourth and final playoff spot.
In their previous league encounter, Karnali defeated Chitwan by 6 wickets.
Earlier today, Janakpur Bolts and Sudurpaschim Royals are set to clash in Qualifier 1 at 1 PM.
