In Malaysia, Nepal, losing the toss, was invited to bat and posted a modest total of 94 runs, losing 8 wickets in the process.
Captain Puja Mahato top-scored with 25 runs, hitting 3 boundaries off 40 balls. Alisha Kumari Yadav remained not out on 9 from 9 balls, hitting 4 boundaries.
Openers Sana Pravin (9), deputy captain Soni Pakhrein (8), and Jyotsika Marasini (6) were all dismissed cheaply.
For India, Puronika Sisodiya took 4 wickets for 12 runs in 4 overs, while Anandita Kishore claimed 1 wicket.

The U-19 Women’s World Cup will be held in Malaysia in January next year, where Nepal is placed in Group D alongside Australia, Bangladesh, and Scotland.
