The Office of the Government Attorney requested the extension of his detention, citing ongoing investigations.
Along with Lamichhane, four other individuals were also presented in court today.
Although the police have submitted their investigation report, additional time is needed for further review, leading to the request for an extension.
In the Surya Darshan cooperative scam, 51 defendants are involved, with a claim of 1.51 billion rupees in damages, and the police have prepared their report accordingly.
