Police submits investigation report against Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: The investigation report against Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President and former Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane has been submitted to the Government Attorney’s Office.

According to the Kaski District Police Office, the investigation was concluded and the report, along with recommendations, was handed over to the District Government Attorney’s Office in Kaski on Monday.

Lamichhane was investigated on charges of cooperative fraud, organized crime, and money laundering.

Police have recommended filing charges against Lamichhane and 50 others involved in the case.

Lamichhane was arrested on October 19 from the party’s central office in Baneshwor.
