Good governance key to political stability & development: Minister Gurung

KATHMANDU: On Monday, addressing an event marking the 59th anniversary of The Rising Nepal in Kathmandu, Minister Pithivi Subba Gurung emphasized that establishing good governance is the primary goal of the current government.
He stated that political stability can only be achieved once good governance is in place.
The Minister further explained that political stability is essential for enabling development and progress.
He stressed that for good governance to be realized, major political parties must work together, which is why the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML have formed the government together.
Minister Gurung highlighted that increasing capital expenditure is a key priority for the government.
He added that the current administration is working to address the needs of the people by advancing various projects.
The Minister also noted that the government is making efforts to improve its work processes and that, as per current needs, it is necessary to seek loan assistance. He mentioned that the country’s revenue is gradually increasing.
