KATHMANDU: Nepal lost the toss against Pakistan in the ongoing U-19 Women’s Asia Cup in Malaysia.
Pakistan’s captain, Kinnarah Overal, won the toss and opted to bowl, inviting Nepal to bat.
In their next match, Nepal will face India on Tuesday.
In Group ‘A’ of the tournament, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Malaysia are also competing.
Nepal secured a spot in the Asia Cup after qualifying for the U-19 Women’s World Cup from Asia.
The U-19 Women’s World Cup will be held in Malaysia in January next year.
Nepal is placed in Group ‘D’ alongside Australia, Bangladesh, and Scotland.
