KATHMANDU: The seventh National Flag Day was celebrated today in Kathmandu with a rally at Basantapur Durbar Square, where participants proudly carried Nepal’s national flag.

The event marks the day when Nepal’s national flag was globally recognized by the United Nations.

National Flag Day is observed annually on the 1st of Poush, commemorating this significant moment in history.
