NC calls emergency central committee meeting

KAATHMANDU: The ruling Nepali Congress has called an emergency meeting of its Central Committee today (Monday).

The meeting was convened following the demise of former Kathmandu Mayor and former minister PL Singh.

Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba has scheduled the meeting for 11:30 AM at the party’s central office in Sanepa.

Office-bearers, members of the central committee, and invited members are expected to attend.

The meeting is set to decide on a condolence proposal to honor the late leader.
