One held for raping minor

KATHMANDU: Chandra Bahadur Pariyar (19) of Simta Rural Municipality-4, Surkhet, was arrested on Saturday morning for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl.

The incident took place in a bushy area near Guiyakhola, Sallibazar, Bheriganga Municipality-1.

Police from the Area Police Office, Devasthal, made the arrest following a complaint.

Further investigation is ongoing.
