130 kg marijuana seized after car accident in Siraha

KATHMANDU: A car accident at Zeromile in Dhangadhimai Municipality-10 along the East-West Highway led to the discovery of 130 kilograms of marijuana.

According to Birendra Kumar Paswan, the Information Officer at the District Police Office in Siraha, the incident occurred on Saturday when a truck (Na 3 Kha 7591), traveling westward, collided with a car (Ba 8 Cha 9963) coming from the east.

During investigation, police seized the marijuana hidden in the car.

The car’s driver fled the scene, while the truck driver has been taken into custody.
