Gold price drops significantly on first trading day of the week

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepali market has dropped significantly on the first trading day of the week.

Today (Sunday), the price of gold decreased by Rs 2,200 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold is currently trading at Rs 150,800 per tola.

On the previous trading day, Friday, the price was Rs 153,000 per tola.

The price of silver has also declined.

Today, silver is trading at Rs 1,840 per tola, compared to Rs 1,960 per tola on Friday.
