KATHMANDU: Bayern Munich suffered their first defeat of the Bundesliga season on Saturday, losing 2-1 to Mainz under manager Vincent Kompany.

South Korean forward Lee Jae-sung scored both goals for Mainz, while Bayern’s lone goal came from Leroy Sane.
