Shooting of movie ‘Karma’ begins
The film's shooting started on Friday in Ghorahi, Dang, and will be filmed over 40 days in Dang and 6 days in Rukum.
KATHMANDU: The shooting of the upcoming film Karma, directed by Saurabh Chaudhary, has officially begun with a muhurat (auspicious start) ceremony.
The film’s shooting started on Friday in Ghorahi, Dang, and will be filmed over 40 days in Dang and 6 days in Rukum.
The main cast members include Bipin Karki, Upasana Singh Thakuri, Mukun Bhusal, and Divyadev.
Chaudhary’s action film marks the first collaboration between actors Bipin and Upasana, who will appear as a pair, while Mukun will play a negative character.
The action-drama genre film has been written by Chaudhary himself, who also reveals that Bipin will appear in an action avatar for the first time in this film.
Previously, director Chaudhary helmed Agastya: Chapter 1, which received positive feedback from both audiences and critics, raising high expectations for Karma as well.
Karma will be presented by Artistic Entertainment and produced with an investment by Basanta Lamsal.
Before the start of its shooting, the film successfully sold its international distribution rights.
The film is scheduled to release on the 29th of Chaitra (April 11), coinciding with the Nepali New Year.
