Hero MotoCorp launches Xtreme 160R 4V & Xtreme 125R in Nepal

KATHMANDU: Leading motorcycle and scooter manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has launched two new motorcycles in Nepal — the Xtreme 160R 4V and the Xtreme 125R.

Through the Xtreme range, Hero MotoCorp aims to meet the sophisticated demands and needs of modern riders in Nepal by offering powerful, stylish, and performance-oriented motorcycles.

The company believes that these new models will further strengthen Hero MotoCorp’s brand identity in the country.

The company has priced the Xtreme 160R 4V (Pro) at Rs 384,900.

Meanwhile, the Xtreme 125R is priced at Rs 289,900 for the CBS variant and Rs 311,900 for the ABS variant.

Both models are assembled at the CG Industrial Park in Nawalparasi, alongside the Xpulse 200 4V, Super Splendor, Splendor Plus motorcycles, and the Zoom 110 scooter.

Xtreme 160R 4V

According to the company, the Xtreme 160R 4V offers a 163cc 4-valve BSVI engine in the 160cc segment. It delivers 16.9 PS of power at 8,500 RPM and 14.6 Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM.

The company claims that this motorcycle sets a new benchmark by reaching 0-60 km/h in just 4.41 seconds.

With exceptional capability and superior performance for high-speed rides, the company states that this is the fastest motorcycle in its category.

To enhance the experience further, the 37mm KYB inverted front fork and 7-step adjustable rear suspension ensure easy handling and stability. Weighing only 145 kg, this motorcycle is easy to maneuver and ride.

The petal disc brake provides better cornering ability on both urban roads and highways. The Xtreme 160R 4V also features a muscular and aerodynamic design, including robotic headlamps with winglets, an under cowl, and a hugger fender.

It offers the option of a single or split seat. For a more comfortable ride, the ergonomics provide extra space for the feet and a slightly tilted handlebar to ensure a smooth riding experience.

On the technology front, the Xtreme 160R 4V comes with a full-LED lighting package, an inverted speedometer with Bluetooth connectivity, a gear position indicator, and call/SMS alerts.

These features enhance the riding experience, making this model highly useful for those seeking a top-tier motorcycle experience.

Xtreme 125R

According to the company, the Xtreme 125R sets a new standard in the 125cc segment with a powerful sprint engine. It produces 11.4 BHP of power and can accelerate from 0-60 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. This motorcycle offers a great balance between performance and mileage.

The EBT system ensures a more balanced riding experience, while Hero’s i3S technology guarantees fuel efficiency.

The Xtreme 125R features a muscular and sharp design, including the segment’s first projector LED headlamp, LED turn signals, and signature LED tail light. It also comes with sporty mufflers, wheel covers, and a negative LCD instrument cluster, making it technologically advanced and attractive.

The company states that the diamond frame on this model ensures excellent handling. The 120/80 rear tire, 37mm front suspension, and 7-step adjustable mono-shock provide stability and comfort.

The flat handlebar ensures ease of use for both daily commutes and adventurous rides. For safety, it includes single-channel ABS, a 276mm front disc brake, and hazard lights.

Available in vibrant color options like Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue, and Stallion Black, the Xtreme 125R is designed to capture the attention of Nepal’s younger riders with outstanding performance, cutting-edge features, and enhanced safety.
