Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank inaugurates Digital Payment Center at Durbar Marg branch

KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank inaugurated a Digital Payment Center at its Durbar Marg branch today during a special ceremony.
This initiative aligns with the bank’s policy of providing customers with state-of-the-art digital payment services.
Through the Digital Payment Center, the bank will offer various online payment services.
These services include facilitating payments for visa fees, applications, and tuition fees for students aspiring to study abroad.
The bank will also cover payments for standardized tests such as PTE, SAT, USMLE, GRE, and ACCA, as well as SEVIS fees, using secure and authorized electronic payment platforms. With the launch of this service, the bank aims to meet customers’ increasing demand for innovative, convenient, and hassle-free payment methods.
Previously, the bank signed an agreement with Nepal Clearing House (NCHL) to facilitate cross-border transactions between Nepal and India.
Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank remains committed to adopting the latest digital payment methods and aims to establish itself as a leading provider of cross-border QR payment services through its extensive branch network and merchant network across Nepal.
Recently, in line with its policy to provide customers with modern, secure, and user-friendly digital banking services, the bank also upgraded its mobile application and introduced “Mahalaxmi Smart Sathi.”
