Pokhara Avengers vs Biratnagar Kings clash goes to Super Over

KATHMANDU: The match between Biratnagar Kings and Pokhara Avengers reached a super over in the Nepal Premier League (NPL), marking the first super over of the tournament.

Chasing a target of 140 runs set by Biratnagar, Pokhara needed 14 runs in the final over for victory.

Basir Ahmad, the bowler, managed to keep Narayan Joshi from scoring off the first ball.

On the second ball, Joshi took a single, and the third ball saw Raman Rafer hitting a six, bringing the game to a tense climax.

With seven runs required off three balls, Basir held his nerve, delivering two dot balls.

However, in the final delivery, Rafer smashed another six, sending the game into a super over.
