One soldier, 7 terrorists killed in clashes in NW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Seven terrorists and one soldier were killed in two separate clashes in North Waziristan district of Pakistan’s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, according to the military.

Four terrorists were killed when security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistani army, said in a statement on Wednesday.

In addition, three terrorists and one soldier were killed during an intense fire exchange.
