Man held for raping a minor

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 55-year-old Padam Shrestha, a resident of Shanti Tole, Mechinagar Municipality-10, on Tuesday night on charges of raping a 12-year-old girl.

Police deployed from the Area Police Office, Dhulabari, arrested him based on a complaint that Shrestha lured the girl and raped her.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
